Summer School Financial Assistance
The Muse is committed to bringing quality professional development to Christchurch and support musical professional development in Aotearoa.
This is an expensive undertaking, but we do understand that for some people the cost is a significant barrier.
We have several ways we can help. We have a small amount of scholarship money set aside, and are also applying for grants so may be able to assist to further reducing the low income fee.

For those who could theoretically afford $800.00 if it was spread over a year but feel nervous about making such a big investment, we believe that as soon as you start the course you will see the incredible value to you as a teacher. For this reason, If you need it, The Muse has agreed to 'cash flow' the course from our savings, while students pay their fee over the year.
You will need to make a deposit of at least $200 and set up an automatic payment to pay the rest off within 12 months. If you can afford to pay it off more quickly, that would be great. If the deposit is going to be a problem, please get in touch with us to discuss.
This system will allow us to continue to offer the training. Each year we need to bring more tutors, so that students can progress, while new students begin, so we rely on the community to assist us in order to keep the course sustainable. All the mahi going on in the background to bring this course to Christchurch is being done by dedicated volunteers.
